Team

Developing a high performing team does not happen by chance! High performing teams plan for their success and:

  • have a mutual understanding of their shared direction,
  • know the contribution and purpose of each team member
  • communicate, consult and share knowledge, and
  • appreciate and utilise the unique characteristics that each individual brings to the group.

Catalyst will work with the team and leaders of the team to design a facilitated, outcome focused session. These sessions take the group on a journey that allows them to understand the dynamic, identify barriers and agree actions that will enhance team and individual effectiveness. Participants then agree on the behaviours required to support success and commit to team and personal action plans.

Teams often come together to share knowledge of internal and external stakeholders and their expectations. Facilitated team sessions are designed to gain insight into each participant’s stakeholder understanding. The session then seeks to synthesise this information to inform actions that satisfy stakeholder needs and effectively manage the relationship.

Team sessions often include the administration of MBTI (Myers Briggs Type Indicator), GSI (Group Styles Inventory) or LSI (Lifestyles Inventory). These tools provide deep insight into the team dynamic and how individuals can enhance personal and team success.
